A day of firsts and lasts,
Today I hosted the first Airsofter World test game in Belgium and we had a blast!
But it was a day of things that I did for the first time and for the last time and that made this day a bit more special.
The First,
Ares Alpha, I have been playing around with Ares Alpha and used them on some games as an additional tool for the game. This game was completely run with the tags and boxes from Ares Alpha. Integrating the box in the game is something that I wanted to do and show to other players and organisers. I'm not surprised that I love their props when I use them in the game.
Airsofter World Game, the very first test game in Belgium and the world for the international competition that we're slowing growing around the world. Mission based competition with a lot more linked to it than you would first imagine. It's a tool to grow the airsoft community and strengthen the link between all the elements. I can say that this was a great success and looking forward to more in the future.
The Last,
Belgian Airsoft, something that I have done with a lot of love and dedication is doing my best for the Belgian airsoft community. One of those things is organise games for people that want that little bit more. This game will probably by my last game, organised in Belgium, for a long time. It's was a good one to end with. Thank you all for giving it your best!
The Future,
Airsoft, I will do more. I want to get back into the thing I love, organising games and putting smiles on peoples faces before, during and after a day of airsoft. It might have been my last Belgium game, but it will not be my last one. With Airsofter World, supporting other organisers or just by myself, I will be there!
All I can say is, Thank you for the awesome day and I'm looking forward to see this grow to something big!
