Update 02,
There were no big updates but continuous bug fixes and small updates happened. All remarks, from the teams and visitors, have been added to the priority list. That list will be used for the major event update that is coming.

1. Added countries/New people
More people joined the team and the Discord but we also have communication with a few others that aren’t on the Discord yet. The Airsofter World team is slowly growing in the world but also in different countries. We aim for a team of 5 to 10 people for each country, depending on the size and complexity of that country.
- Switzerland, a country with a strong airsoft community. They have associations for each language part and also an umbrella association for the whole of Switzerland. Looking forward to more talks in the future.
- USA, after the call for USA players, a few airsofters answered. We welcome 2 new USA airsofters that have a lot of knowledge about how airsoft is done in the USA.
- Finland, we welcome 2 new players from Finland, and also a bit of Sweden.
- Czech, first events are showing up on Airsofter World so an extra hand is a welcoming addition to the Czech team.
- Denmark, the first communication is done and we’ll proceed this in the coming month. We also welcome the first Danish airsofter on the Discord.

2. Profile updates
After the big update in October, no major updates have been done. If you have any remarks, please add them to the open Discord where we bundle and prioritize them.

3. Country status
Most countries finished step 1 and 2 and contacted airsoft organizers to talk about the possibilities of Airsofter World.
There are 2 extra steps in the status. The status is an easy tool to keep track of the status of a country. Four steps are active and one is coming in the near future.

4. Analytics
We reached 9995 accounts and are growing every day. People from all over the world visit Airsofter World.
5. English speaking communities + translations
Because of the lack of funds we choose our priorities carefully. In November 2 fronts were addressed. Spreading awareness in English speaking communities like the USA and UK but also working on a translation tool for non-English communities.

A new translation is available on the test site and will be on the production site very soon. When the English language is selected in the profile, all inputted text will be translated to English, except the text that was added by a fellow country(wo)man. This text will not be translated to make it possible to use the native language.
An icon is shown next to the translated text to make the reader aware of the translation.

6. Interface translation
Besides the text translation we’re updating the interface language. The teams update the 1000+ translations that are needed to fully translate the interface. A hefty job but one that will make a big difference for non-English communities.

7. Event Types
While there are no big updates on the events itself, we optimize specific event related topics. One example is the different event types. This filter option makes finding an event a lot easier. By communicating with different countries we learn what event types they use and we can find an optimized list of types when we update the event section.

Not only the type is important but a definition of that type is being constructed to standardize event types.
